When observing war long enough, people's lives, hopes, dreams turn into plain numbers, statistics, datapoints.
Checking daily russian casualties numbers is a grim ritual for many Ukrainians trying to estimate from these figures when they will be able again to not be afraid for their lives, reunite with loved ones, afford the luxury of planning the future.
From a technical point of view, this album is various sound textures manipulated by russian casualties figures. From a musical point of view, it's the sound of wind at night in the chimney of your house 20 kilometers away from Bucha. Never knowing whether it's actual wind or tanks approaching. Never knowing whether you're gonna make it to the next morning.
